Mockups

The first initial idea was to make an album cover with a cartoon effect, that looked like Joss Stones "Mind body & soul" album cover. The paisley background is iconic of the 1960s when soul was most popular, we wanted this to come across to the audience in ours.

-This is our result -
However, we decided that we wanted something that was completly different and not imitate any other artists CD covers. We then came up with an idea and we drafted it out. We then changed that CD Cover that is now our final.
For our poster, we intended to use this image alone:
We chose to use this image because we felt that it fitted it perfectly with the song title 'Don't Know, Don't Care' as our artist is looking angry and almost breaking the Rose in two. However, with the CD cover we felt that it didn't really link together. So again, like our CD cover we did a mock up and that turned out to be our final. Here was our original Poster:

Images for poster

we took some images of the person we chose to be our artist for the CD cover and for the poster. we have edited these images in photoshop so that we could get the exact look that we wanted for our genre, we have finished editing these images yet because we still want to add some more effects to them. we asked our artist to wear casual clothes and look natural with her hair and make-up this is because it is stereotypical of the blue eyed soul genre to have an artist that is natural.
